No to Public School “Unified Dress Code”

No to Public School Unified Dress Code in Asheboro City Schools

Category: Education

Target: All Asheboro Citizens, Students, and Parents of Asheboro City Public Schools

Background:

The Asheboro City School Board of Education is trying to obligate their Students to wear a school uniform. From the newspapers and meetings held it seems some individuals have to much time on their hands and think the good citizens of Asheboro should afford such wasteful spending of taxpayer money to diminish or ignore the process of law; and fairness afforded by a petition on the “Unified Dress Code” by all legal and/or voting citizens within the school districts.

It is requested that all action stop on the guidelines for a “Unified Dress Code” until the Citizens of Asheboro City School Districts opposition know what remedies we have after petitioning said citizens/parents/students on the side of “NO to Asheboro City  Unified Dress Code.

The Asheboro City School Board of Education in appearance displays a field of fairness it seems. But from observances and conversations it is not fairness but a well organized group to stripe the the First Amendment Rights of Freedom of Expression in Public Schools and do more damage to the citizens.

Some concerns for the public involvement are:

When speaking with those who support this issue, it is amazing all the misinformation or the facts they use to deny others their rights within Asheboro, NC.

Consideration to health and well being of others involved in wearing the clothing is not thought of by the minority Pro- Groups.  Public School Laws of the US and NC Constitution are totally ignored; and citizens/students civil rights are not made public when attending the presentation for the Pro – Groups.

Now we have citizens rights being ignored.   Remember it is a requirement by US / NC Law to have public schools.   Remember citizens are paying the taxes to keep the schools going.  And think; if this is not enough citizens are to be obligated to wear something they do not want to wear or to buy.  Actually, some Asheboro Public School Students and their parents are going to be supposedly obligated by the Asheboro City School Board to wear limited clothing designed to flatter lighter weighted people.

Point of fact is there is a current satisfactory Dress Code; and laws govern this current Dress Code which can be referenced at the Schools Web Site (www.asheboro.k12.nc.us/   or http://asheboro.in10sity.net/Images/Users/1/district/pdf/Section%204000/4316.pdf  )

When a child does not conform to the “Unified Dress Code” in the Public School System in Asheboro, North Carolina, some actions will be taken to correct this nonconformity,  said by several staff members.  Will the punishment eventually end in suspension or denial of entrance into our schools so the students can not get a public school education without conforming.

Burden of embarassment and shame of not conforming is a form of brainwashing, in some citizens opinion.

Totally there is a violation to deny the Citizens of Asheboro the right of transparency.   The right to petition “against” said issue of “Unified Dress Code” has not been started to my knowledge as of the date of 12 Feb. 2009, on such a life altering event dealing with our Public School.

Requested is an audit for transparency of cost,  and who is paying for the Proposed Program of “Unified Dress Code” to be run in Asheboro, NC.

This topic of  “Unified Dress Code” is never to be approached again by the Asheboro City School Board unless a poll/vote of both students and parents is done beforehand to illustrate a strong support of said issue of dress changes.  Within this polling above if a ballot “IS NOT RETURNED IT WILL BE CONSIDERED A ‘NO’ FOR A CHANGE IN DRESS CODE”.

A poll should have been done at the expense of the few starting the “Unified Dress Code” for 2009-2010.  In the future minority are to be burdened with the cost not taxpayers for such projects.

Remember we who oppose this are known but the few people who started this proposal will never be known.  In the future when minority groups want to implement a change for our citizens in Asheboro City to follow – they are to bring the strong proof of numbers supporting the issue with data showing the numbers of people, the citizens, who want the same change.

Petition:

We – the citizens, parents, and students in Asheboro City School Districts – say “NO” to the Unified Dress Code Initiative to obligate the Asheboro City Public Children.

And we support action required above in said, Background to stop the “Unified Dress Code”.

(Comments welcomed on draft above, and Thank-you so much.)

Quote:
Congress: Rank-and-File Members’ SalaryThe current salary (2008) for rank-and-file members of the House and Senate is $169,300 per year.* Members are free to turn down pay increase and some choose to do so.* In a complex system of calculations, administered by the Office of Personnel Management, congressional pay rates also affect the salaries for federal judges and other senior government executives.* During the Constitutional Convention, Benjamin Franklin considered proposing that elected government officials not be paid for their service. Other Founding Fathers, however, decided otherwise.

* From 1789 to 1815, members of Congress received only a per diem (daily payment) of $6.00 while in session. Members began receiving an annual salary in 1815, when they were paid $1,500 per year.

Majority Leader – $188,100
Minority Leader – $188,100

House Leadership
Speaker of the House – $217,400
Majority Leader – $188,100
Minority Leader – $188,100

A cost-of-living-adjustment (COLA) increase takes effect annually unless Congress votes to not accept it.

Congress: Benefits

You may have read that Members of Congress do not pay into Social Security. Well, that’s a myth.

Prior to 1984, neither Members of Congress nor any other federal civil service employee paid Social Security taxes. Of course, the were also not eligible to receive Social Security benefits. Members of Congress and other federal employees were instead covered by a separate pension plan called the Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS). The 1983 amendments to the Social Security Act required federal employees first hired after 1983 to participate in Social Security. These amendments also required all Members of Congress to participate in Social Security as of January 1, 1984, regardless of when they first entered Congress. Because the CSRS was not designed to coordinate with Social Security, Congress directed the development of a new retirement plan for federal workers. The result was the Federal Employees’ Retirement System Act of 1986.

Members of Congress receive retirement and health benefits under the same plans available to other federal employees. They become vested after five years of full participation.

Members elected since 1984 are covered by the Federal Employees’ Retirement System (FERS). Those elected prior to 1984 were covered by the Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS). In 1984 all members were given the option of remaining with CSRS or switching to FERS.

As it is for all other federal employees, congressional retirement is funded through taxes and the participants’ contributions. Members of Congress under FERS contribute 1.3 percent of their salary into the FERS retirement plan and pay 6.2 percent of their salary in Social Security taxes.

Members of Congress are not eligible for a pension until they reach the age of 50, but only if they’ve completed 20 years of service. Members are eligible at any age after completing 25 years of service or after they reach the age of 62. Please also note that Member’s of Congress have to serve at least 5 years to even receive a pension.

The amount of a Congressperson’s pension depends on the years of service and the average of the highest 3 years of his or her salary. By law, the starting amount of a Member’s retirement annuity may not exceed 80% of his or her final salary.

According to the Congressional Research Service, 413 retired Members of Congress were receiving federal pensions based fully or in part on their congressional service as of Oct. 1, 2006. Of this number, 290 had retired under CSRS and were receiving an average annual pension of $60,972. A total of 123 Members had retired with service under both CSRS and FERS or with service under FERS only. Their average annual pension was $35,952 in 2006.

Cost of Food Prices and Wages in the 1800’shttp://oldrecipebook.com/1800s-livingcost.shtml
Think it was easier living during the Industrial Revolution? Here’s some of the prices for food they were paying per week just to live.1 bag of flour $1.80
Small measure of potatoes daily at .17 per day $1.19
1/4 lb of tea .38
1 qt milk .56
1 lb cheap coffee .35
Sugar 3 1/2 lb $1.05
1/2 ration meats per week $3.50
4 lb. butter $1.60
2 lb. lard .38
Dried apples for treats .25
Vegetables .50
Soap, starch, pepper, salt, vinegar, etc. $1.00
2 bushels of coal $1.36
Kerosene .30
Sundries .28
Rent $4.00 weekTotal $18.50The average wage earner only made $16.00 a week. Some trades only made two, three, four, or six dollars a week. This family spent $2.50 more a week than the father made, and had nothing left for entertainment or clothing. The men driving the horse drawn streetcars in New York in the 1880’s made $1.75 a day working 14 to 16 hr. a day.
During the Industrial Revolution, even children were employed, and working 14 to 16 hours a day.

End Quote:)

About $850 annual earning for American Citizens in 1800’s. And today the annual wage earner makes under $10 per hour or less. So the average American is probably earning less than $25,000 annual.

What happened that the elected officials are receiving about 9 (nine) times more than the American Citizen making $25,000. Remember in 1800’s the elected official only were getting double the Average Americans annual earnings of $850. In the 1800’s the elected official were earning about $1580.

What ratios are they using to get 9X the earning of American Citizens?

I-9 Since 1986 Have Fooled American!

P7220022

Stopping amnesty and in turn an American First Hire Bill needs to be enacted.

All groups fighting: against amnesty, for a clarification of 14th Amendment, and to close the border; if you will take get one minute to think about the end prize.  The end prize is jobs.   AMERICAN JOBS HAVE NO SAFEGUARD FOR AMERICAN TO BE HIRED FIRST INSTEAD OF IMMIGRANTS.

And with NO SAFEGUARD for the American workers; is this the most severe problems Americans will be confronted with currently and in the very near future.

Just this coming week while Americans are struggling to find a job; or feeling the threat of being displaced by a foreign worker Congress is in committee to pass the following:

H.R. 5882 would reach back to 1992 and “recapture” employment-based and family-based visas, potentially adding over 550,000 new green cards.

H.R. 5924 would lift the cap on employment-based visas for nurses and physical therapists until 2011.

H.R. 6020 would grant amnesty to illegal aliens who are family members of armed forces personnel.

H.R.5950, details vast new immigrant detainee health care requirements that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) would have to implement in all of their detention centers.

So let’s look at what is going on here with each.

H.R. 5882 would reach back to 1992 and “recapture” employment-based and family-based visas, potentially adding over 550,000 new green cards.

Can Americans workers be displaced any further?  Yes, they are being replaced and displaced. Just go and asked your local State Unemployment Office if they are processing I-9 for local businesses.  What are I-9s?  What is the ratio of issued I-9 in a state versus the hiring of Americans?

The I-9 is a form  – Department of Justice: Immigration and Naturalization Service produced.  The I-9  requires the employer to obtain information such as proof of legal status be using a social security card, green card, or visa. Some companies make copies of proof used for I-9. The I-9 is not sent to be verified by any government agency, they are just filed. ICE may be the only agency that will inquiry into the file of I-9s if ever needed. Once again the I-9 is not sent to be verified by any government agency.  Actually, I-9 is filed and most likely will not be touched any government agency ever. (How long has ICE been around?)

So first problem is are the paper fakes; and just look authentic.  How are employers to discern between fake and legitimate documents. They cannot.  Exactly, an employer’s excuse for hiring illegals is “we are not document experts”.  Next, the employer’s says, “we did not want to be sued for racial discrimination” so we just collect the I-9 information and do not question anyone. These employers are free to hire illegal immigrants with no safety net for the American Workers.

Why is there NOT a safety net for the American Workers? The I-9 was put in place after the 1986 amnesty to fool Americans into thinking businesses were only hiring legal workers.  And employers only have to file the useless I-9 paper in a file cabinet with NO VERIFYING BY ANYONE. So where is the safe guard for all of America Jobs?

Congress Stop Ignoring the American Workers; Pass an AMERICAN FIRST HIRE LAW.  This law could make sure massive legal immigrants and illegals aren’t displacing American workers.  Yet it seems we are protecting some jobs today by the following H.R. 5924.

H.R. 5924 would lift the cap on employment-based visas for nurses and physical therapists until 2011.  Why is this?  Why isn’t there a cap on I-9s for the average American Workers?  And why isn’t the government guarding every American’s job? Who are we really protecting here? Are nurses and physical therapists more special than other America workers?

And then the H.R. 6020 would grant amnesty to illegal aliens who are family members of armed forces personnel. Why would we do this?  First, where these armed forces personnel legal or illegal immigrants when they were allowed to join the United States Military? Something is odd about this.  Are illegals to enter our American Military Forces? Further research is needed on this!

Now here is the H.R.5950, which details vast new immigrant detainee healthcare requirements that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) would have to implement in all of its detention centers. No, we do not provide health care any further for immigrants than we do for the general prison population.

Please Call your Congress this week and tell them “NO” on all bills above. And demand an “American First Hire Bill” that would give American Workers  jobs first over all immigrants. Nurses and the medical communities should not have caps on hiring when other American Jobs do not have caps on them.

Here are toll free numbers for the Capitol Switch Board:
to the US Capitol: 877-851-6437;  866-220-0044; 800-417-7666; 866-340-9281

Call about these and Call often to tell Elected Official how you feel.  Elected officials are no better than the American People they represent and serve.

I have fought the city on some issues. Won some!  With a lot of Hell raising though.

Come and join us at http://www.alipac.com, a group fighting for Americans against illegal criminal aliens taking Americans jobs. Please go to the local mills; and see for yourself. Few Americans are there anymore.  I have even worked in mills;  I am in shock over total take over of American job here.

Contracting work to companies that are hiring non-Americans is a vast problem, today!  Even our little town is doing it.

Dr. J’s everywhere out there!

In the 1980’s I had a niece delivered at Randolph Hospital. The attending Doctor Gold…stink! walked out of the delivery room, Nurse Jean was preparing the equipment and came to look at my sister-in-law.

Nurse Jean looked at me where is the doctor. I said, “he just walked out.”

Nurse Jean said go get him. I went into the hallway and called silently, Doctor Gold…stink. and then returned to side of delivering table.

Immediately my great niece was born and delivered by a wonderful great nurse JEAN!

My niece nearly popped out onto the hard concrete floor at Randolph Hospital with the doctor, Gold…stink just walking out of the room seconds before she was born….
